Wallpaper Featured on POPSUGAR's Website ·

I was beyond excited the day I received an email from Tempaper, the maker of the wallpaper, asking if they could use my pictures for future promotions. Of course I replied yes! I mean here I am, new to this game of Instagram and someone is actually asking to use MY picture!

I started my blog and Instagram account at the end of last summer (2018) and I haven’t even had these accounts for a year, so I was very excited that someone even noticed my pictures. Some of you guys are wondering how I even got to this point? How did I get noticed? Well, I will share it with you…

After installing the wallpaper, I posted it on Instagram and I tagged Tempaper. I think I may have even posted different pictures of the wall and just kept tagging them. I tag mostly so my followers can see where the wallpaper came from, in case they want to buy it themselves. I often get messages asking to source it, so I just tag it to make things easier. After a couple of posts, I saw that they “liked” my picture. I still didn’t think much of it.

A few weeks later, I received an email asking if they can use my pictures and requested some high resolution pictures. Of course I said yes, took pictures with my Sony A600 and sent them away. I asked the the girl to please let me know when they got used and she said she would.

A few weeks forward, I was wondering to myself if the pictures were used so I went on the Tempaper site looking around and found nothing there. I decided to email the girl a few days ago and she replied back that they were used and send me the link. I had no idea they were going to be used for a POPSUGAR article on their website. It may be a small feature but I was still so excited that my images made it to a highly recognized website.

I was a bit disappointed I didn’t find out until a month later because the girl never let me know but I’m glad I followed up with her.

I was also excited to be a part of a feature in which the blogger that inspired me to use that wallpaper was also featured in, along with some other beautiful spaces.
