This year, I’ve been so excited for Christmas (most likely will be sick of it two weeks before Christmas lol). I literally decorated my house for Halloween and dove right into Christmas. Yup, it’s just the best holiday and I can’t contain my excitement. I wanted to share my favorite purchases this year and why I decided to go with them.
Last year, I bought so many new decor pieces that I wanted to continue the theme of the blush pink, whites and golds. I will share last years Christmas Home Tour here. This year, I’ll be adding some more white and a bit of boho. I really don’t think I’ll change my tree too much except for the actual tree. My husband has had this tradition of having a fresh tree every year since he was a kid, and after trying to convince him for the last two years to get a faux tree, he finally gave me the GO, so this year I’m in between a Flocked tree or a Noble Fir tree. I already have a few flock trees that I decorate with in my dining room and bedrooms so I’m totally leaning towards the Noble Fir. What do you guys think I will do? I went with new stocking this year and I’m looking to display them in a fun way… I need to brain storm that. I’m also adding some more mercury and bottle brush trees to the mix. Last year, I was looking for these cream bottle brush trees from Hobby Lobby but they sold out way before Christmas. I ordered them a couple of weeks ago and they already sold out online (They look darker in the picture below). I’ll be mixing them up with the Target pink trees I have from lat year.
I’ll be adding a Christmas tree to the boys room and Isabella’s room. The boys want something fun but I’m thinking maybe a blue theme to go with their room. You can see Isabella’s Christmas tree and a fun tradition we started last year with books!
I ordered the family pajamas linked below and can’t wait to wear them Christmas morning and of course take a picture with them on before Christmas. Last year, I wanted to buy family pajamas two weeks before Christmas and they were sold out everywhere. At least the nice ones so this year I started planning extra early.
Can’t wait to show you guys everything up soon. I’ll be decorating slowly thru the next few weeks so I don’t get sick of it before Christmas lol.
