Thank You Delivery Driver

Do you guys online shop and have tons of packages delivered the last few weeks before Christmas like I do? With three kids its hard for me to go shopping at the mall, so I order online a lot. We are basically an online shopping family… my husband is obsessed with Amazon, so we get quite a few packages a week.

What a better way to say Thank You to all the delivery drivers and mail couriers than to have a basket filled with snacks and refreshments. I saw this idea a few times on Pinterest and wanted to create my own special sign. During the holidays, I see some of these drivers work very long hours. My UPS guy sometimes comes at 9pm! The USPS guy also works hard all year round so they definitely deserve a Thank You. Any way you can give back and show that you appreciate their hard work goes a long way.

After I created the sign, I printed and laminated it at Staples for less than $3. I just placed the order online and picked it up the same day at my local store. It was such an easy process. I do recommend laminating it with 10 mil so it’s a bit thicker and stands better on the basket.

I started by adding some snacks to this bin I already had from Micheal’s and used tape on the back of the sign to keep it in place. You can use any basket or bin you have. Just make sure you bring it inside every evening.

Here is what I added:

  • Cheez-it
  • Nilla Wafers
  • Granola bars
  • Waters
  • Mineral flavored water

Below is the printable I made. Feel free to print it and create your own special basket full of treats.

All I hope for, is that the drivers feel a bit of joy as they see this basket and enjoy their snacks and drinks this holiday season.
