Tree collars have been a big trend for the last two years. I bought mine last year and it was so hard to find. I looked for a few weeks and finally found the gray woven collar from pier 1 but let me tell you that this year, they are everywhere! There are so many good options it makes me want to buy another one… but I really don’t need it.
The thing about tree collars is that they give your tree such a beautiful and complete look and you can easily hide the tree stand. Last year, I layered my tree skirt on the floor then put the tree along with the tree collar on top and it looked great. I wasn’t blogging back then but I will show you guys a picture I took of my tree with the collar. I received so many compliments on it.
This year, I was thinking of actually tucking in the tree skirt and allowing the tree skirt to drape over naturally, like a blanket drapes over a basket. You can also put the collar around the tree base without a tree skirt and it’ll still look so good! well, isn’t that the point either wa for the tree collar to replace the tree skirt 😉
Below I shared a list of my favorite tree collars, all in different styles to go with any theme and very budget friendly. I suggest you look at the dimensions and make sure it goes with the tree size you have. You don’t want a collar too big or too small or it’ll look awkward.

This one is another great buy. It looks like a regular woven basket and the color is so rich. This split willow collar is $30 at Target.
Oh hello Hammered tree collar! This one is so chic and modern. If your color scheme is metallics, this is a great buy! It goes for $69.99.
All I think about with this tree collar is how festive it is! It is so cute and if your theme is the traditional Christmas colors (red, green and white), this one is perfect! This one goes for $69.95. (They layered the tree collar over the skirt like I did last year)
This white plastic collar is one that can’t be underestimated just because it’s plastic. It’s like winter wonder land perfection. This would look great with so many color themes. I can picture this especially with a flocked tree! You can grab this one on Amazon for $49.99.
