Affordable Fall Decor

You guys know I’m all about fall decor and I even decorated early September but one thing that I love to do is look for decor on a budget. I keep getting asked where to buy fall decor from so I decided to write a post on the best affordable fall decor I could find.

Before you start shopping, take out your favorite decor from last year and build from there. You don’t have to go all out and decorate your entire house but adding a few pumpkins or fun touches here and there can give you that fall look you want. I usually stick to certain places in my house to decorate and tend to focus a lot in my dining room. Start by decorating your dining table or buffet/ side table. Choose a great table runner and add a tray with pumpkins or just layer some pumpkins in a bowl. In my living room I just add something to my coffee table and maybe add a throw pillow or blanket.  If you have a coffee station in your kitchen or a decorative tray, you can also add some decor pieces there. I try to keep the same style of decor. If you choose white pumpkins try to keep the theme around the house. Try not to mix more than three-four colors so it doesn’t look out of place. (See my fall blog linked below to see how I mixed 3-4 colors.)

Your front door is also a fun place to decorate. You can add a great wreath, door mat and some pumpkins or mum plants. Mum flowers are in season and you can find them in your local home improvement store or local market.

Here are a few of my top picks:
