Home Sweet Haunted Home

It’s finally October and I couldn’t wait to decorate my house. I think Halloween is such a fun holiday with tons of decorating options. This year, I decided to just add a few decor pieces and incorporate my fall decor with Halloween. I’m also thinking ahead and I can also incorporate the fall decor with Thanksgiving after I put all the Halloween decor away in November.

I’m not crazy about going too spooky because my kids get a bit scarred of witches and monsters. I went to Target and found some really cute items. You know I went straight to the Bullseye Playground.  I mixed all my new goodies with some decor from last year.

As I mentioned above, some items are from the Target’s Bullseye Playground. Every time I go to Target I still see them, so if you like them, go check it out. Did you guys know they have a lot of the dollar spot items on the Target website? The only catch is that they come in pairs or in bulk. You can’t just order one single item.

I like to keep my decor, holiday or not, very simple and subtle. I don’t like to see a ton of items on one table or see clutter. I also stick to the same spots to decorate…my dining area and my coffee bar in the kitchen.

Here are some items you can shop from:

Spooky Telephone
(The all black phone is from last year)

Here’s what’s from the Bullseye Playground… the witches boots, the “Home is Where you Park your Broom” sign that are on the storage shelf. The white ghost, the stripe bowl and the “Home Sweet Haunted Home” sign that are on my bar cart.

Happy Haunting!
