I made the cutest end of summer S’more charcuterie board using the Cricut Joy for the kids first day of school. I wanted to do something special that they could enjoy when they came home. I love it during the end of summer as the temperatures cool off and we can enjoy lighting up the fire pit and making s’mores. I had so much fun using the Cricut Joy to make these fun vinyl decals to place on the tray I already had. You can use any tray you have on hand to customize it.
Using the Cricut Joy machine was so easy and I wanted to share the easy steps with you! Save this post in your bookmarks to refer back to it when you’re ready!
First, follow the instructions on installing and setting up the Cricut Joy. It’s so easy and it basically does it for you. Download the Cricut Joy app. Below are screenshots of the steps to create the Vinyl decals.
Choose Vinyl Sticker 
Choose the orientation 
Use the balloon to find your image (may have to subscribe) 
Pick an image 
Adjust size 
Start printing
When printing, make sure you pick the correct material. I chose the Smart Vinyl- Permanent and also used the Smart Vinyl Writable Vinyl. With this Vinyl, you don’t need to use a mat so choose Without Mat in the Prep section. Place the Vinyl in the machine and then it will connect and start printing. It’s was the easiest process.
Once you peeled the sections that you don’t need with the tools, use the transfer tape to stick the vinyl on the tray. Make sure you press it down very well so it transfers easily.
I repeated all the steps with these cute s’more vinyls.
My kids were so excited and ate it so fast when they came home, I didn’t even have a chance to snap a picture.
