We’ve had the same living room layout for years and I was badly itching for a change. It all started with wanting to give the living room some color to tie in with the decor in the dining room. In December, I switched out the living room curtains, pillows, lamp and coffee table and it was a great change. As we all know the new collection of Studio McGee at Target was released and I fell in love with these accent chairs which gave us the idea to get rid of part of our sectional and reconfigure it.
We’ve had our sectional for over 8 years. Way before living in this house and our old living room was much bigger. I never realized how over sized the sectional was until we removed some pieces and made it a three seater sofa including the chaise. It really opened up the living room and made it look more airy. As for the chairs we got, they are beautiful. I did have an issue with one and not sure if they will last years and years but they do look great for now.
